Our Work at the Mediterranean Games – Tarragona 2018
The Mediterranean Games are a dynamic multi-sport event that brings together nations from across the Mediterranean region. Tarragona was the edition with the largest number of participating National Olympic Committees (26) and marked Bornan’s breakthrough in the sports technology industry.
The Challenge
To deliver the best technological service to each competition. 27 sports, 37 disciplines, +3000 Athletes, 26 NOCs, and we made it happen!How
We powered the Mediterranean Games Tarragona 2018 with:- Games Management System (GMS): Fully GMS application modules, from Accreditation and Sports Entries to Accommodation.
- Timing, Scoring and Results: We powered the competitions with full Timing and Scoring equipment and its operation at all sports.
- TV Graphics: We designed and implemented the TV graphics for 14 live sports broadcasts.
- Live Web Results & Mobile Apps, CIS (Commentator Information System): By delivering real-time Games information and statistics, Bornan provided users with a more connected experience.
