Asian Winter Games, Harbin 2025
The 2025 Asian Winter Games, held in Harbin, China, brought together top athletes from across Asia to compete in over 60 events. With more than 1,200 participants, the Games highlighted the growth of winter sports in Asia and inspired greater participation in the region. Harbin 2025 represented a milestone for us, as it was the first Winter Games where we demonstrated our value to the industry by providing the highest quality technology to drive the event and deliver a unique experience for all competitors.

The Challenge
34 NOCs, 1,275 athletes, 11 sports, and extreme weather conditions across all winter sports represented a great challenge. Bornan deployed a large number of people to manage and oversee every detail of the event from an IT perspective to meet and exceed our partner’s expectations.
How
• Integration and application of our Games Management System (GMS): 6 key functional areas delivered to manage the event, including Accreditation System, Electronic Access Control interface, and Sport Entries & Qualifications.
• Games Results System (GRS): Bornan provided an integrated suite that managed all competitions from several key services, such as Timing, Scoring, and Results (TSR), Central Results System (CRS), and Commentator Information System (CIS).
• In-house developed TV graphics for the Games: We designed and developed the Games graphics for live broadcasts, providing real-time results by connecting to our Games Results System.
• Other IT services provided included Games e-INFO & Web Results System, Mobile Information System, Games Support System, and more.

HIGHLIGHTS
+45K registrations that ensured secure, role-based venue access for all stakeholders.
+43K credential records that enabled seamless access control in and around Games-related venues.
+1200 athletes and 34 NOCs entries processed, streamlining athlete registration and data integration with results systems.
64 events successfully delivered with accurate and real-time competition results and statistics.
Delivered zero-delay graphics for 9 disciplines, producing 16 4K feeds and 2 virtual Graphics feeds in addition to 2 highlights feeds.
