Bornan Sports Technology as the digital driving force behind the centenary edition of the Central American and Caribbean Games

A century of history. A new technological standard. One stage: the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo.

Madrid – February 9, 2026

It has been an honour to welcome the President of the Organising Committee, Mr. José P. Monegro, the Treasurer of the Committee, Ms. Mercedes Canalda, the President of Centro Caribe Sports, Mr. Luis Mejía Oviedo, and other members of the organisation to our offices in Madrid to sign our incorporation as the Official Technology Provider for the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026. This historic edition celebrates its centenary and will once again transform the sporting experience in the region. The technology that will drive the heart of the Games will bear the Bornan seal.

100 years of Games. 100 years connecting cultures. 100 years building the future of sport.

The Central American and Caribbean Games were born as an initiative to elevate regional sport. That vision gave rise, in 1926, to the first edition of an event that would grow to become an unbreakable tradition for 37 nations.

A century later, Santo Domingo 2026 brings with it renewed energy, new disciplines, new audiences and a digital infrastructure designed to allow information to flow in real time.

A centenary event worthy of the most advanced technology

In 2026, Santo Domingo will be the meeting point where tradition and cutting-edge technology come together to offer a connected, intuitive and fully immersive experience.

Bornan Sports Technology, as the Official Technology Provider for the Games, will be responsible for the technological infrastructure that will make this centenary edition possible.

Don José P. Monegro, President of the Santo Domingo 2026 Organising Committee, stated:
“I have great admiration for their work philosophy. Bornan is a relatively young company and in such a short time they have managed to generate a level of empowerment that deserves to be congratulated. The care and excellence with which they manage every detail is evident, and that is a very important aspect, because it means that they will also take care of our event with the same level of dedication.”

Roberto García, Managing Director of Bornan Sports Technology, said:
“When we get involved, we really get involved, and for us, the event must be perfect, both for the Bornan family and for Santo Domingo. It is a special place, with the Centro Caribe Sports headquarters present. We want this anniversary to be truly memorable for you.”

With a presence at international events and technology designed to scale, we continue to strengthen our mission: to transform the way sports competitions are experienced, organised and enjoyed.
