Asian Games – Hangzhou, 2022
The 2022 Asian Games, held in Hangzhou, China, were a remarkable celebration of sportsmanship across Asia. Originally scheduled for 2022, the Games were postponed to 2023 due to the pandemic. The event was a testament to the region’s growing sports culture, fostering unity and competition across Asia. Hangzhou 2022 left a lasting impact on both the athletes and the city’s sports infrastructure and became one of our greatest challenges to overcome, demonstrating our value and efforts in the world of sports.
The challenge
Over 12,000 athletes from 45 countries competed in 40 sports, including new additions like e-sports and breaking. Bornan was entrusted with the task of providing an efficient, reliable, and real- time IT service.
How:
• Timing, Scoring, and Results: Delivered accurate and real-time competition results and statistics across 40 sports, 61 disciplines, and 481 events.
• TV Graphics: Our solution covered all 61 sports disciplines, 5 of which state-of-the-art virtual graphics were provided.
