After winning a selection process involving several international companies, Bornan Sports Technology has been appointed as the Official Technology and Digital Data Provider for the 3rd GCC Games.
The games will take place from 4 to 14 April in Kuwait City, bringing together more than 1,500 athletes from all the countries of the Persian Gulf.
The services provided by Bornan on this occasion include consultancy and project management, game management system, timing, scoring, and results services. Online web results and native mobile applications (Android and IoT), TV Graphics production and integration, and HD broadcast services production and transmission.
On this project, Roberto Garcia (Managing Director of Bornan) said: “It is a big challenge, due to the short delivery time and the complexity of some sports, but we are confident in our experience, solutions and delivery capacity”.
In 2019, Bornan Sport Technology successfully delivered two multi-sport events, the First African Beach Games SAL2019 in Cape Verde in June and, later in November 2019, the ANOC World Beach Games in Doha, Qatar.
